About Little Rhody Rescue and Quarantine Inc.
To date, since 2002, Little Rhody Rescue has adopted over 13,500 shelter dogs to loving wonderful families!!
We are guided by the USDA And States’ Departments of Agriculture.
Currently, the focus is to aid individuals and families struggling with hearing, physical stability and sight impairments, PTSD, Anxiety disorders or Autism spectrum- related needs. Additionally, we equip dogs to school systems that are benefitting from the presence of therapy dogs in the daily life of children.
We’re working with some wonderfully talented trainers to guide our teams (of clients and dogs) to healthier, more bountiful lives together; helping our clients to overcome some of the difficulties that they incur day to day.
By accepting qualifying rescue pups into the fold, the costs and wait time of accessing an ESA or therapy dog are significantly diminished, and the opportunities are immediate! Teamwork makes the Dream work!
Little Rhody Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue and quarantine facility located in Rhode Island. All of our dogs are rescued from animal shelters in Louisiana and Tennessee that are considered to be “high kill” shelters.
Once admitted, they are tested for disease, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed and administered preventions for fleas, ticks and heart worm. We are licensed in the states of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
